Esbjerg Ensemble

The Esbjerg Ensemble was founded in 1967 on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture as the first professional chamber ensemble in Denmark. They have a close relationship with contemporary composers and regularly premier new works. Their impact on the musical life of Denmark is very great and international tours are now regularly scheduled.
