The Martindale and Roberts String Quartets were founded in 2004 and 2005 respectively as the members of each quartet began their undergraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, under the guidance of Dr. Christopher Rowland and Alasdair Tate. Both ensembles have enjoyed concert success across the north-west of England and have received coaching from the Endellion, New Zealand and Danel Quartets.
The Martindale and Roberts Quartets, both prize-winners, appear by kind permission of the Royal Northern College of Music.
