Welcome to the Skipton Music Listening Club. Each month, we choose a piece of music which is being performed in that month's Skipton Music Concert and the week before the concert, we meet online to listen and have a chat about it - hopefully with some special guests along the way! This allows us to explore new and unfamiliar work and to give it a heads up before the performance.
From February's concert, we've chosen Bordel 1900 and Café 1930 from Histoire du Tango by Astor Piazzolla. Here's a link to a performance for flute and guitar, its original line-up, but, of course, Aaron and Ryan will be performing it on trumpet and accordion.
Listening Club will take place online for the 2025-26 season and the Zoom link will be sent to you before the session which will take place at 7.30pm on Tuesday 17th February 2026.
