
Elizabeth Watts, born in 1979, was a chorister at Norwich Cathedral. After graduating with a first in archaeology from Sheffield University she won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music in 2002. She is now on the Young Singers' Programme with English National Opera and has had great success at Aldeburgh, Bridgewater Hall, Cheltenham Festival and many other musical venues. In June 2007 she won the prize for Lieder at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World.
